The MEDEK Accreditation Process Has Started in Our Laboratory and Veterinary Health Program

Burdur Gıda Tarım ve Hayvancılık Meslek Yüksekokulu Laborant ve Veteriner Sağlık Programı, MEDEK (Vocational Education Evaluation and Accreditation Board) accreditation process has officially taken a step.

In this context, the MEDEK evaluation team visited our school as of today and conducted on-site examinations in the program's education, teaching, and application areas.

Within the scope of the visit program, the evaluation team first toured the classrooms and laboratories of the Laboratory and Veterinary Health Program and received information about the infrastructure, equipment, and application opportunities. Then, they visited our University's Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Animal Hospital, where our students develop their professional skills, and visited our practical training areas on-site.

The evaluation team continued their observations based on many criteria such as the quality of education of the program, laboratory safety, student-instructor interaction, adequacy of application areas, and graduate qualifications.

The MEDEK process is of great importance in terms of continuous improvement, quality assurance, and certification of professional competence within the framework of national standards.

As the Laboratory and Veterinary Health Program, we thank all our academic and administrative staff who contributed to this process and continue our efforts with determination to offer education at the highest quality standards for our students.
